Peggy Ann Darbro

Peggy Ann Darbro, 67, of Jones Mills, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 20, 1953 in Fort Leonard Wood, MO, a daughter of the late Herman Darbro and Karen Monica (Andrews) Walker.

For many years, Peggy worked as a CNA caring for others.

She was a member of the American Legion and Sons of Italy, Connellsville.

Peggy is survived by her children, Melissa Ann Swanson (Jason Elliott) and Christine Marie Davis (Beth Sipe); grandchildren, Katie Nicole Davis, Fred “Tank” Heller (Desi Cochran), Shane Matthews (Bessie), Brittany Goodwin, Cody Davis, and McKenzie Meyers; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn M. Hunter (Charles), Stanley H. Darbro (Tracy), and Mary Jane Bryant.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sally Thompson Andrews, and grandfather, Rev. Stanley M. Andrews.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 11am until the hour of the funeral service at 2pm with Rev. Steve Andrews officiating.

Interment will be held privately at a later date at Normalville Cemetery.
