Maxine M. (Rhodes) Stull

Maxine M. Stull, 93, of Dunbar, passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2023 at Rhodes Estates, New Castle, PA.

She was born January 8, 1930 in Chester, WV, a daughter of the late Norman Richard and Marie N. (Patton) Rhodes.

She graduated from Penn Hills High School in the Class of 1948. Throughout her life, Maxine dedicated her time to being a loving homemaker to her family.

Maxine was a member for many years at the Franklin United Methodist Church, Dunbar.

She was an avid bowler and bowled on a league for a number of years and she also enjoyed socializing with the local quilting club where she would cook for the members who attended the club.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Billie M. Oliver; her granddaughters, Tammy Reno and husband Curt and Susan Mehallick and husband Phillip; her grandson, Todd Oliver; and her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn  Lewis and husband Michael, Ian Mehallick, and Sophie Mehallick.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Stull and her son-in-law, James L. Oliver.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 4pm – 8pm and on Saturday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Debra Lambert officiating.

Interment will follow at the Olive Branch Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
