Donald Eugene Shroyer, Jr.

Donald Eugene Shroyer, Jr., 65, of Mill Run, passed away on Monday December 20, 2021 at Highlands Hospital.

He was born January 21, 1956 in Connellsville, a son of Donald Eugene Sr. and Ruth (Hensel) Shroyer.

He was a graduate of Connellsville Senior High School in the Class of 1975 and he was Protestant by Faith.

Don was lovingly known as a jack-of-all-trades and a multi-tasker because he never knew how to not work. He did different jobs from carpentry, to working at Seven Springs.

Basically, you name it, he’s done it!

The one job he truly enjoyed doing was farming. He was born into a farming family, where he knew the true meaning of working hard every day. Farming was one of the most important things to Don in his life, next to his family.

He adored being a pappy and loved his kids and grandchildren dearly.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Amy (Williams) Shroyer; daughter, Courtney Grimm of Mill Run; son, Joseph Shroyer of Mill Run; grandchildren, Alexis Pirl, Austin Grimm, Adrianna Shroyer and Joseph Shroyer, Jr.; great-grandson, Axel Ray Shroyer; parents, Donald Eugene Shroyer Sr. and Ruth (Hensel) Shroyer; siblings, Lou Ann Horner and husband Randy of Mill Run, Roger Shroyer and wife Tamara of Mill Run and Matthew Shroyer of Mill Run and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Thursday from 2pm – 8pm and on Friday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment will follow at Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery.
