Mary L. (McClure) Karwatsky

Mary L. Karwatsky, 85, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 18, 2018 at Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown.

She was born June 20, 1933 in Connellsville, the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Collins) McClure.

Mary graduated from Connellsville High School in the Class of 1951. Once she graduated, she became employed at Troutmans, where she worked for many years.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Mary is survived by her children, David Karwatsky and wife Donna of Connellsville, Shirley Pericho and husband David of NC and Kevin Karwatsky and wife Lisa of Connellsville; 7 grandchildren, Kelly Thacker and husband Nick, Brian Karwatsky and wife Erin, Kristen Yoder and husband Eric, Adam Pericho, Tyler Pericho, Ashley Pericho, Kyle Karwatsky; 7 great-grandchildren, Evan, Emmalyn, Sydney, Logan, Eden, Jolene, and Harlyn and her brother, Charles McClure of CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Karwatsky; and brothers, James McClure and Frank McClure.

Family and friends will be received on Friday Nov. 23 from 2pm – 8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 10am with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating.

Interment will follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
