Marlene D. Brienza

Marlene D. Brienza, age 78, from Penn Hills, (Formerly of Connellsville), passed away peacefully at home with her 2 children on Friday July 13, 2018. 

Beloved wife of the late Raymond M Brienza; Loving mother of Daniel R. (Butch to Mom at times) Brienza & Lisa M. (Tim) Brienza; Daughter of the late John & Anna Wardzella; Sister of the late Leonard Wardzella, Rita (Bill) Pearson, Valeria (Bob) Childress, her identical twin sister Arlene Zorichak, Maryann Hunchuck & Paula Wardzella; Sister in law of the late Dolores (Joe) Kristobak;

Marlene had many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews whom she adored.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice in Marlene’s name.

Friends received Monday from 4-8 PM at the CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills and from 3-7 PM on Tuesday at PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC., Connellsville, PA.

Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11am until 11:30am when Prayers of Transfer will be held. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 12 noon at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville with Rev. Fr. Robert Lubic as Celebrant.

Committal will follow at St. Rita's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Connellsville.
