Barbara Ann (Cole) Leonard-Ritenour, 79, of Connellsville, joined her husband, Cecil Ritenour and children, Roy Allen “Junior” Leonard and Margaret “Peggy Sue” (Leonard) Kriek, to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born June 12, 1939 in Connellsville, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (Taylor) Cole.
She was a devoted member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Connellsville.
Barbara was blessed to have been able to love, and be loved, by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren. She was a woman of Faith and great kindness who welcomed many through her doors and into her heart.
Barbara is survived by her children, Mark A. Leonard, Martha “Marti” P. (Leonard) Reagan, Barbara L. Leonard, Christopher L. Leonard, Matthew D. Leonard and wife Amanda; step-children, Sharon Ann Huffine and husband Alan, Lidia Mae Glass and husband Gary, Michael and friend Dee I. Keffer, Lonnie and wife Elizabeth and Cecil Ritenour, Jr.; friend, Debbie Long and daughter; her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Edith Ritenour and husband Chelsea and Sarah Porterfield; brother, John Rose and wife Robin; sister-in-law, Carol Cole and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Joseph and Bessie and her children, Junior and Peggy Sue, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ritenour, Sr. and her brother, Joseph “Tinker” Cole.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Saturday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Immediately following the funeral service, a Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held at the Dunbar Eagles, West Leisenring.
Interment will be private.
