William Richard Leichliter

William Richard Leichliter, 69, of Connellsville, passed away on Sunday November 24, 2024 at his home.

He was born December 28, 1955 in Connellsville, a son of the late Luther and Dorothy (Strothers) Leichliter.

He was employed through the railroad as a driver and he was a member of the Moose, VFW Post 21, and Sons of Italy. 

William is survived by his daughter, Shana Leichliter (Lee) of Grindstone; 3 grandchildren, Niaha Dillard, Stephen Dillard Jr. And Ameya Dillard, all of Uniontown; brothers, James Leichliter (Terri) of Connellsville, Robert Leichliter of Uniontown, Raymond Leichliter of Uniontown, and Charles Leichliter (Lucy) of Fairchance; sisters, Ella Mae Rigga (Mark) of Scottdale, Mildred Montgomery (Joseph) of Uniontown, and Wilma Cole and (Joseph) of Uniontown and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bud Leichliter and sisters, Noni Martin. Dorothy Leichliter, and Barb Nicklow.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville PA 15425.

In accordance with William's wishes, there will be no viewing and interment will be private. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 7th at the VFW Post 21 at 5pm.
