Thelma Elaine "Buck" (Wilson) Richter

Thelma Elaine "Buck" Richter, 91, of Dunbar Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 3, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born August 25, 1932 in Dunbar Township, a daughter of the late Evans and Viola (Shultz) Wilson.

She was a member of the Leisenring Presbyterian Church.

For many years until her retirement, she was a cafeteria worker for the Connellsville Area School District.

Thelma always made sure everyone was fed. If you went to her house, you were expected to either eat, or enjoy one of her homemade milkshakes.

She enjoyed spending time with and, of course, eating with her family.

Thelma is survived by her children, Carol Fordyce (Gerald), Thomas Richter (Louanne), and Gregory Richter; grandchildren, Jody Mangus, Keith Fordyce, Thomas Richter III (Dawn), LeeAnn Richter, Abby Cesario (Tom), Stacy Cohen (Phillip), Jason Richter (Jodi), and Gregory Richter Jr. (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Nathan, Evan, and Natalie Mangus, Garrett and Preston Richter, Parker, Bentley, and Jameson Cesario, Aiden Cohen, and Gregory, Anthony, and Mikaila Richter; brothers, Ray Wilson, Wayne Wilson (JoAnn), Gary Wilson (Patty), and Larry Wilson (Brenda); sisters, Verna Grego (Ron) and Gladys Fabian (Frank); brother-in-law, Steve Chapman and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Richter; sister, Caroline Richter and her husband James; sister, Edna Chapman and sister-in-law, Judy Wilson.

Family and friends will be received in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville. , PA 15425 on Tuesday from 2pm – 8pm and on Wednesday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating.

Interment and committal services will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
