Obituary
Susan Lee "Susie" Alesantrino, 78, of South Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Monday February 27, 2023 with her loving family at her side in Amber House, Mt. Pleasant.
She was born on July 8, 1944 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth (McNair) Rendine.
She was a graduate of Geibel Catholic High School. Throughout her life, Susie was a loving homemaker to her family.
Susie had a profound love for painting, drawing, stained glass, and all things artsy and artistic.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Susan is survived by her children, Julie Alesantrino (Harry) of Mt. Pleasasnt, David Alesantrino of Uniontown, Jeff Alesantrino (Elise) of Davidsville; beloved grandchildren, Johnny Alesantrino, David Alesantrino (Maria), Haley Brothers (Jimmy), Christopher Alesantrino and Sarah Alesantrino; great-granddaughter, Cecelia Alesantrino and sister, Sharon Rendine.
In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Alesantrino; her son, John Alesantrino Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Francis Alesantrino; sister, Mary Ann Capazutto and brother-in-law, William ‘Spike’ Alesantrino.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Wednesday from 2pm - 8pm and on Thursday from 8:30am until 9:30am when Prayers of Transfer will be held. The Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville with Rev. Fr. Paul Lisik as Celebrant. Committal will follow at St. Joseph R.C Cemetery, Connellsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Parish in remembrance of Susan – 116 South Second Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
