Stephanie E. McCargo, 56, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 19, 2025, at her daughter’s home.
She was born on October 11, 1969, in Dunbar, a daughter to the late George Robert Shelton and Darlene McCargo.
Throughout her life, Stephanie held many different job positions, from working at Eat N’ Park and a variety of gas stations, to working at the local homeless shelters helping others whenever she could. Most importantly, she was a loving homemaker, making sure her family was taken care of.
Stephanie was known as a kind and generous person. If someone was in need, she would make sure they were helped and supported.
She was a member of the Brothers of the Hammers, herself being a ‘biker-lady’, and she was a member of the City Chapel Church, Uniontown.
Stephanie enjoyed life and always made sure to have a good time.
Her number one priority in her life was her grandbabies, who she adored with her entire heart.
Stephanie is survived by her children, Shaun Davis of Uniontown and Tyla Davis of Uniontown; her beloved grandbabies, Rae’Onna Davis, Shaun Davis Jr., Serenity McCargo, Da’Zarie White, Dez’Ahrae White, Suri McCargo, Tre McCargo Jr., Kashton Davis, Chosyn Davis, Saige Davis, and S’hauni Davis; her one great-grandbaby, Ya’mora Davis; sisters, Denise McCargo of Uniontown and Bonito McCargo-Hairston and her husband Robert of FL; her entire Maryland Family and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by her son, Tre McCargo Sr. and brothers, Robert McCargo and Terence McCargo; her godson, Keon’Te McCargo and numerous additional family members.

Family and friends will be received in the Youghiogheny Western Baptist Association Center (YWBA) - 624 Duck Hollow Road / Route 21 Uniontown, PA 15401 on Saturday November 1, 2025, from 12pm until the hour of her funeral service at 3pm with a repast to follow at the center.
Stephanie’s family requests that everyone who will be attending the viewing and services to wear her favorite color, blue and to please bring any donations of food for the repast directly to the YWBA.
