Snapple Moscalink Obituary

Snapple, the beloved 13-year-old and “meanest-looking sweetest, little kitty” of the Moscalink family, passed away peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday, March 29, 2026, with her family by her side after a brief battle with kidney disease. Her family could not imagine a more beautiful day for her to enter Heaven than Palm Sunday.

Born in 2013 as the middle “fur-child,” her human mom, Bethany, was blessed to witness her birth and care for her from the very beginning. Alongside her big sister, Maggie May, and her little sister, Yoda, they were affectionately known as the “Mini Muffins.” Snapple herself was lovingly nicknamed “Sugar-Snapbug-Pea.”

Though she was never much interested in toys, her favorite pastime was chasing her tail — and she proudly caught "that thing" that seemed to follow her everywhere. While her face may have looked mean, she was truly the sweetest cat anyone could meet — unless, of course, you tried to pick her up. Being held was strictly off-limits.

When Snapple wanted attention, she made sure you knew it, gently pawing at you and offering her tiny meow until she received the pets she so clearly deserved. She brought laughter to her family with the way she would sit “so inappropriately” for a lady, and with the adorable sight of her tongue sticking out when you least expected it. Her cherished headbonks into their faces were her unmistakable way of saying, “I love you.”

She loved being close to her sisters, often found snuggled up beside them.

Snapple will be lovingly remembered by her human family, Michelle, Charlie, and Bethany Moscalink; her sisters, Maggie May and Yoda; her half-brother, Cheeto; and her many other adopted and rescued fur-siblings.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she was welcomed into Heaven by loved ones who passed before her — though surely no one dared to pick her up.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and supervision of Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425.
