Sean Michael Edward Ruby

Sean Michael Edward Ruby, 33, of South Connellsville, passed away on Thursday July 11, 2024. He is now free from life’s burdens and sorrows and from his addiction that he struggled to beat.

He was born April 26, 1991 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Heidi (Ruby) Close and Michael King.

Sean was lovingly known as a free spirit and he had a soft heart like his mama. He was very kind and was never mean or disrespectful to those he loved and cared for.

He loved tattooing, even doing tattoos on himself and he loved to rap and make numerous different TikToks.

Sean wasn’t afraid to be different. He knew who he was and he truly was himself to the very end.

He leaves behind his son, Braxton Caleb Ruby, whom he loved so much; his mother, Heidi Close and her husband Thomas A.; step-father, Christopher Welsh that raised him since birth and loved him like his own; biological father, Michael King; step-mother, Staci King; sister, Maddie King; brother, Michael King Jr.; grandparents, Jacob and Victoria Ruby; grandma, Sharon Seiling; aunts, Corenia Ruby and Crystal King; uncles, Jacob Ruby Jr.(Misty), Mark Leonard Jr., Nicholas Ruby (Stacy), Coty Ruby (Katelin), and Colt Ruby (Jess); several cousins and several great-aunts and great-uncles and his lifelong best friend, Bobby Booshay Honse.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Evert and Corenia Rose, grandpap, Ronald King and great-grandparents Pearl and Andrew Ruby.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Tuesday July 16th from 1:30pm – 8:30pm and on Wednesday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment and committal services will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
