Sandra Lea (Lowry) Fletcher, 80, of Grindstone, passed away peacefully on Friday November 24, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 15, 1943 in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Blair Joseph and Margaret Cecilia (Wilson) Lowry.
Family was Sandra's life, having been a loving homemaker for many years. She was loving, caring, and compassionate, doing what she could for anyone. She always enjoyed spending time with her children and her many grandbabies. She also loved all her furbabies.
Sandra was a fan of Betty Boop, collecting many memorabilia. She also was known to have the spunk and sass just like Betty.
She will be dearly missed, but know she is healthy, at peace and most importantly, she is reunited with her beloved husband.
Sandra is survived by her children, Albert Fletcher Jr. of Connellsville, Terri Molinaro and husband Francis (Coco) of Connellsville, James Fletcher and wife Chris of Scottdale, Mark Fletcher and wife Tracy of Connellsville, Jeanette Smith and husband Brian of Loysville, PA, Helen Crawford and husband Randy of Ickesburg, and Gloria Cornish and husband John of Connellsville; 63 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Blair Joseph Lowry Jr. of Uniontown and sister, Margie Ayers of Connellsville.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Carl Fletcher Sr. (July 2023); her grandson, John Cornish Jr.; her great-granddaughter, Naiona Garland; sisters, Shirley Goodwin, Helen Yekel and Martha Calhoun; brothers, Timothy Lowry and Gary Cope and her twin brother, Sonny Lowry.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday Dec. 1st from 2pm to 8pm and on Saturday Dec. 2nd from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at Noon with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
