Samantha Rae (Kaiser) Sledge

Samantha Rae Sledge, 47, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at her home.

She was born on December 13, 1978, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Jack and Cheryl (Lowery) Kaiser.

Samantha was a 1997 graduate of Connellsville High School and went on to attend Penn State Fayette, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Administrative Justice.

For many years, she was employed as an occupational therapist, helping those with Autism and developmental delays.

While attending school in Connellsville, she met the love of her life, Michael. The two shared 32 wonderful years together, including 25 years of marriage.

Sam had a love for reading and enjoyed watching television, especially soap operas and Judge Judy, often alongside her husband. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with Mike and her sons.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Michael Raymond Sledge of Uniontown; her sons, Brayden Sledge of Uniontown and Michael Sledge, Jr. and his girlfriend, Anastazia Hall of Blairsville; her sister, Crystal Kaiser of Oklahoma.; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved fur babies, especially Gracie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Kaiser, in 2017.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and supervision of the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425.
