Ruth Arlene Stenger, 60, of South Connellsville, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born July 30, 1963 in McKeesport, PA, a daughter of the late Darrell and Shirley Lorraine (Johnson) Ritenour.
Ruth attended Greenwood Heights Church of God.
Throughout her life, she was a loving homemaker to her family.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Randel E. ‘Randy’ Stenger of South Connellsville; son, Randel J. Stenger and wife Beth of Connellsville; granddaughter, Madison Stenger; grandson, Zachary Stenger; siblings, Leroy Ritenour of Connellsville, Shirley Goodwin and husband Thomas of Normalville, David Ritenour of Vanderbilt, Kimberly Nicholson and husband Freddy of Connellsville, Emma Cole and husband John of Mill Run, Amy Hockenberger and husband Jay of Uniontown and also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell ‘Buddy’ Ritenour.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Penny and Staff in the WVU Ruby CVICU for their care and compassion.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm and on Saturday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Rev. Stanley Flasher officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
