Rose M. Kosisko, 86, of Connellsville, was called to Heaven by our Lord on August 15, 2025. Our Angel may have returned home, but she will continue to participate in every thought, action, and decision we make. Her presence leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort knowing that our lives have been enriched by her love, every moment with her was a gift, and Rose was our treasure. You have never lost your mother though you’ve said your last goodbyes, though there is heartbreak in the parting, no mother really dies.
Rose was born on August 6, 1939, daughter of the late Mary and John Maycrovich. She was employed by Anchor Hocking Glass Corp for 38 years as a selector.
She was also a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville, where she loved to make pierogies.
Rose was preceded in death by Joe Kosisko, her loving husband of 60 years.
She is survived by son, Joe Kosisko and wife Tina; grandchildren, Hailey and Aidan and grand-dog, Paisley, whom she dearly loved; brother, Sonny Maycrovich and the late Susan Maycrovich; niece, Patricia Alberts and husband Edward; sister-in-law, Pauline Giobii and the late Nick Giobbi; nephew, Anthony Giobbi and wife Laurie; special cousin, Marie Lowman and numerous other family members.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Rose’s neighbors; Jim and Deanna Sherbondy, Ann Fox, and Sandy and Augie Reich. Sandy was her Angel and words cannot describe how much we cherish her for her love and kindness.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
Private viewing will be held as Rose did not wish to have a public viewing. A public Funeral Mass will be held for friends and family at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville on Wednesday August 20th at 1pm with Fr. Edwin Rubido. Everyone please go directly to the church.
Committal services and interment will follow in St. John R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville.
