Ronald M. Farina

Ronald M. Farina, 79, of Connellsville, passed away Friday December 31, 2021 at Uniontown Hospital.

He was born August 3, 1942 in Uniontown, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Maruca) Farina.

He proudly served his Country in the United States Army.

He was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville.

Prior to his retirement, Ron worked over 30 years as an engineer at Fruehauf Manufacturing.

Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the ‘light of his life’, his grandson, Porter.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret ‘Peggy’ (Colatch) Farina of Connellsville; daughter, Kristen Miller and husband Scott of Connellsville; beloved grandson, Porter Miller; sisters-in-law, Patricia Farina and Corinne Luckey and also numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Farina; his mother and father in-law, Margaret and Anthony Colatch; two brothers-in-law, Fred Luckey and Anthony Colatch Jr.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Tuesday from 2pm – 4pm and from 6pm – 8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:30am until 9:30am when Prayers of Transfer will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am will immediately follow at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville with Rev. Fr. Paul Lisik as Celebrant.

Committal will follow at St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville with full Military Honors being held by the Amvets General George C. Marshall Post #103.
