Robert Leroy Forsythe, 51, of Donegal, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 23, 2025, at Independence Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was able to give ‘The Final Gift’ to multiple others, with his ability to donate his organs through CORE.
He was born on July 4, 1974, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Lorraine (Swope) Forsythe and the late Richard Arthur Forsythe.
For many years, Rob was proudly employed at Seven Springs as a line cook.
He occassionally attended Rich Hill Apostolic Church, Connellsville. He had a love for music that carried over into singing. He was blessed with a beautiful voice for singing, especially Gospel.
Rob was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, always making sure to watch every game.

Rob is survived by his loving mother, Lorraine (Swope) Forsythe; his 5 siblings, Lisa Pirl of Donegal, Tracy Pirl and husband Leonard of Acme, Richard A. Forsythe Jr. and wife Lori of Pittsburgh, Georgetta Johnson and husband Randall of White, and Michael Forsythe and wife Elizabeth of Scottdale and his numerous beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Professional funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
Family and friends will be received in the Rich Hill Apostolic Church – 400 Rich Hill Road Connellsville, PA 15245 on Wednesday November 26th from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Ronald Boyd officiating.
Committal services and interment will follow at Ulery Cemetery, White, PA.
Following the Committal services, everyone is invited to the Normalville Rod and Gun Club -163 Indian Creek Valley Rd Normalville, PA 15469 for a dinner.
