Raven Faith Bowers

Raven Faith Bowers, cherished daughter of Dominique and Ron, was born into this world sleeping at 12:12am on Sunday August 24, 2025, at Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born at 37 weeks, a beautiful 18 inches long, 5 pounds, 13 ounces, with 10 perfect little fingers and 10 perfect little toes; an Angel, too beautiful for this world. Raven was known as “Teddy Bear” and “Little Sunshine” to her Mommy and Daddy and she will always be her family’s beautiful, little rainbow. Raven’s sisters, Ariana, Scarlett, and Daisy, were so excited to be big sisters, even playing peek-a-boo with her while in Mommy’s tummy and they would sing to her often. She stole her sissy, Daisy’s, nose, and Daisy was able to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her little sister. Now her sissies have their big brother, Axel, and little sister, Raven, to look over them from Heaven to guide and keep them safe. Raven was lovingly known as her Mommy’s ball of energy, kicking, twisting and turning in her belly, and she already had her Daddy wrapped around her finger.

While Raven’s life was taken too soon, we will continue to allow her memory to live on in everyone who loved her.

Raven leaves behind in this world to cherish her beautiful memory, her Mommy and Daddy, Dominique Darlene Swink and Ronald Lee Bowers III, who showed her true love and warmth; her big sisters, Ariana, Scarlett, and Daisy; her grandparents, Sherry Legas, Victor and Phyllis Swink, and Melvin and April Wathen; her great-grandparents, Bessie and Ronald Bowers Sr; aunts and uncles, Josh and Christina Suter, Kayla Swink, Sierra Croushore, Mason and Josey East, and James and Tonya Gilley and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, family members and friends.

Raven was greeted into Heaven by her big brother, Axel (2010) and uncle, Sammy Bowers.

Family and friends will be received in the temporary location of the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. located in the Apostolic Holiness Church (next door to the funeral home) – 412 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 2pm – 8pm, Saturday 2pm – 8pm and on Sunday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating.

Committal services and interment will follow at Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery, Mill Run, PA, by her big brother, Axel.

Raven’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate and caring OB nurses at Westmoreland Hospital. Thank you will never be enough for what you did for all of us, including Raven.
