Phyllis Elaine (Schroyer) Kraynak

Phyllis Elaine Kraynak, 86, of Connellsville, passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021 at Excela Health Frick Hospital.

She was born October 12, 1934 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (Handford) Schroyer.

Phyllis was Catholic by Faith. Phyllis was a member of the Slovak Club, where she bartended for a period of time.

Throughout her life, she was a loving homemaker to her family.

Phyllis was survived by her children, Vincent Kraynak, Jr. and wife Darla, Thomas Kraynak and Diane Kraynak; grandchildren, Lindsay Kocerka (Matthew), Andrew Kraynak (Emma) and Jeffrey Kraynak (Julia); great-grandchildren, Serenity Kocerka, Orion Kocerka, and Rustin Kraynak, Lydia Kraynak and Logan Kraynak, and brother, William Schroyer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Kraynak Sr. (1987); great-granddaughter, Fiona Kraynak; brother, Louis“Bud” Schroyer; sisters, Margie Kern, Dorothy Kelly and Edith Knabenshue.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Phyllis’ wishes, no visitation will be held, and the Blessing Service at the funeral home and committal at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Cemetery will be held privately.
