Paula Tarr Obituary

Paula Kay Tarr, 69, of Dunbar, PA, passed away after a long, tough, health battle on Sunday February 25, 2024 at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.

She was born on July 10, 1954 in Connellsville, a daughter to the late Paul D. and Virginia E. (Grant) Miller.  She was the oldest of her all her siblings.

Paula was a long-time caregiver and personal care aide at the former Joe-Ella’s PCH of Scottdale. She lived to help anyone whom needed her. She was a very kind-hearted woman, who cared more about taking care of everyone else over anything.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a ‘Mommom’ to any child that came into her presence.

She found friends and family everywhere she went. To anyone who knew her, they knew she was her own person and would do anything she wanted, operating on her own schedule, and being late everywhere she went.

She will be immensely missed by her family.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Tim D. Tarr and brother, David W. Miller.

She is survived by her son, Paul R. Miller and wife Mindy; daughter, Steph Wiltrout and husband Brad; 5 grandchildren, Paul and his wife Courtney, Timmy and his wife Megan, Heather and her boyfriend Todd, Ally, and Adam; 6 great-grandchildren, Alaina, Kayleigh, Raelynn, Grayson, Margret, and one on the way that is due in a few weeks; brothers, John and wife Terri, and Danny; sister, Tina and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Wednesday from 2pm until the hour of the funeral service at 6pm with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment will be private.

The family would like to thank the various nurses and doctors who helped make the last few years possible, especially those at Fresenius Kidney Care, Uniontown.
