Nancy Lee (Hewitt) North

Nancy Lee North, 73, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Saturday May 11, 2019 at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.
She was born May 15, 1945 in Altoona, PA the daughter of the late William Truman and Louanna Katherine (Strong) Hewitt.
Nancy graduated from Holidaysburg Area Senior High School. She owned several businesses with her husband throughout her life. She was a member of the Dunns Creek Baptist Church in San Mateo, FL.
When she moved to Connellsville, she enjoyed spending time at the senior center, playing bingo every week and going to the Laurel Mall Flea Market every weekend.
Nancy was known for being an avid animal lover and would care and tend to any animal in need.
She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lorie Blazer of Connellsville, PA; grandson, Jordan Lee Fox, U.S.Army and his wife, Ashley Danielle; great-grandchildren, Jonna Lee and Ian Cole and her great-aunt, Ruth Strong of Altoona, PA.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
In following with Nancy’s wishes, there will be no visitation held and interment will be private.
