Mindy Lynn Housel

Mindy Lynn Housel, 37, of Lemont Furnace, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday July 8, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born September 14, 1986 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Franklin A. Housel Sr. and Michelle L. (Martell) Stewart.

For a few years, Mindy was employed through in home healthcare as a caregiver.

Mindy is survived by her children, Elizabeth Housel and Joshua Housel; 3 beautiful additional children; step-mother, Wendy Housel; boyfriend, Ellis Sliger, Sr.; sisters, Ashley Housel and Sheena Housel; brothers, Franklin Housel Jr., Christopher Martell, Brandon Ritenour, Cody Ritenour, and Hunter Ritenour and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia and Jacob Yothers, Mary and John Housel, and Timothy and Susan Martell.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

A viewing, prior to cremation, for Mindy will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 15th from 5pm - 7pm. No services will follow.
