Melodie Jean Adelle Nicholson

Melodie Jean Adelle Nicholson, 33, of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday July 17, 2023 at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.

She was born August 22, 1989 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Melvin Joseph Nicholson Sr. and the late Corinna Joyce Burnsworth.

For a few years, Melodie was employed as a nursing care assistant, caring for those who were unable to care for themselves at their homes.

The most important job she held during her life was being a mother. Melodie was the proudest mother and loved her children who were her entire world. Melodie was known for her kindness and love towards others.

She will be deeply missed.

Melodie is survived by her beloved 5 children, Ayden, Adelene, Earl Jr., Aaron, and Natasha ; father, Melvin Joseph Nicholson Sr.; brothers, Melvin Joseph Nicholson Jr. and Calvin Lee Nicholson; fiancé, Josh Johnson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends that she loved and cherished.

In addition to her mother, Melodie was preceded in death by her grandparents and many other beloved family.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

No viewing will be held.

A Celebration of Melodie's life and memorial dinner will be held on Friday July 28th at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Connellsville from 5pm - 7pm.

Interment will be private.
