Melissa Eileen (Jacobs) Eicher

Melissa Eileen Eicher, 71, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Friday July 7, 2023 at Eicher’s Family Home, Normalville.

She was born December 28, 1951 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Lewis and Minna (Huffine) Jacobs.

She was a member of Central Fellowship Church, Connellsville.

Melissa was an office manager for Laurel Ford for a few years until she had started her family. She was a loving homemaker to them throughout the years and loved them dearly.

she loved with her whole heart.

After raising her family, Melissa worked as an ultrasound therapist at Rumbaugh Chiropractor until she retired.

Melissa enjoyed traveling to Benezette, PA to see the elk with her husband, children and grandchildren.

She also adored daffodils.

Melissa is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Eicher; her sons, Brandon Eicher and Kristopher Eicher and his wife, Tiffany; grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Eli, and Madalyn Eicher; brother, Jeffrey Jacobs and his wife, Gina and special aunt, Irma Tishman.

In addition to her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Albert and Barbara Huffine; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Lottie Jacobs; brother, Gregory Jacobs, and sister, Maureen Jacobs.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Tuesday from 1pm until the hour of the funeral service at 7pm.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Melissa's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - 501 St. Jude's Place Memphis, TN 38105.

The family would like to thank Eicher’s Family Home and Amedisys for their special care of Melissa. They are truly ‘angels’.
