Marlene Marie Danko, 79, of South Connellsville, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Highlands Hospital, Connellsville.
She was born June 30, 1943, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Rudy and Mary (Chury) Faynor.
Marlene graduated from Dunbar Township High School and she was a member of St. John’s the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville.
For many years, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker to her family.
Marlene is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bernard Danko; children, David Alan Spaugy and wife Marsha of Scottdale and Kevin Reid Succheralli of Ohio; stepchildren, David Danko and wife Angie of Lemont Furnace, Lisa Zinn and husband Steve of Fairchance and Pamela Metheney and husband David of Florida; grandchildren, Cheyenne Domaracki and husband Stephen of Mt. Pleasant, David Danko of Pennsylvania, Haley Garlick and husband Tyler of Connellsville and Eve Wable of Fairchance. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her siblings, Rudy, Charlie, Stevie, Mildred, and Stella.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, PA 15425.
In following with Marlene's wishes, private viewing and services were previously held, and interment was in the St. John the Evangelist R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville.
