Mark Robert Hiltabidel, 58, of Bullskin Twp., passed away on Saturday February 18, 2023 surrounded by his loving family in Penn Highlands Hospital, Connellsville.
He was born July 16, 1964 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Audrey (Dailey) Hiltabidel and the late Homer Lester ‘Bud’ Hiltabidel.
He graduated from Connellsville High School in the Class of 1983. He began work as a carpenter and then he became employed as a truck driver for Reon Snyder Trucking, Scottdale where he worked for many years.
Mark was an active member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God and he was a member of the Harvest Church Community Dart Club.
Mark was known as an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
When he wasn’t spending time outdoors, he kept himself busy working as a true hard worker would.
Mark is survived by his 3 daughters, Amber of Illinois, Ashlyn of Bullskin Twp. And Alyssa of Connellsville; his 4 grandbabies, Jacob, Amara, Sabrina and the soon to be born, Harley; his mother, Audrey Hiltabidel of WV; his brothers, Dennis Hiltabidel, Raymond Hiltabidel, John Hiltabidel and wife Nikki, and David Hiltabidel and wife Missy, whom are all of Connellsville; sisters, Judy Crouse and husband Robert of Buckhannon, WV, Jean Kuhns and husband Bill of Connellsville, Paula Piasecky of Scottdale and Linda Sensabaugh and husband Matt of Lupton, MI and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra and his nephew, Michael Ritenour.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
In following with Mark’s wishes, there will be no viewing and interment will be private.
A memorial service with a dinner to follow for Mark will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2023 in the Mt. Pleasant Church of God – 936 West Main St. Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666 at 4pm with Pastor Robert Allison officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Mark's family requests donations be made to the Mt. Pleasant Church of God.
