Margaret A. “Peggy Sue” Giles, 88, of Connellsville, passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Highlands Hospital.
She was born June 27, 1932 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Eager and Thelma (Johnson) Jennings.
Peggy Sue was Protestant by Faith.
Peggy Sue loved playing the guitar and singing for friends and family. For many years, she played in a band.
She was a loving homemaker to her family throughout the years.
Peggy Sue will be missed by many.
Peggy Sue is survived by her children, Barry L. Giles, Douglas L. Giles, Elaine Hope Weimer, Greg E. Giles, and Chris D. Giles and husband Buzz Nicholson, who all are of Connellsville; grandchildren, Dana Glover, Donald Nicholson, Peggy Miller, Todd Miller, Carla Weimer, Crystal Weimer, Colleta Weimer, Cynthia Weimer, Barry Giles Jr., Heather Stouffer, Stacey Arrigoni, Doug Giles, Leann Giles, Beth Fogle, Bruce Giles, Blaine Giles, and Greg Giles Jr., who are all of Connellsville; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha Porterfield of Connellsville and Phillip Jennings of Connellsville.
In addition to her parents, Peggy Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Franklin Giles Jr.; son, Larry Giles; her daughters, Colleta Giles-Miller and Debra Ann Giles, and four siblings.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 2pm – 4pm and from 6pm – 8pm.
Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10am until the funeral service at 11am with Bishop Robert Swope, Sr. officiating.
Interment will follow at Normalville Cemetery.
In following with Covid-19 mandates masks are mandatory to be always worn in the funeral home and at the cemetery and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
