Margaret L. "Peggy" (Evans) Baumann

Margaret L. “Peggy” Baumann, 72, of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday April 13, 2023 at her home.

She was born November 16, 1950 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Harry D. and Evelyn (Mason) Evans.

Peggy graduated from Geibel Senior High School in the Class of 1968 and she was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville.

A few short years after graduating, Peggy met and married her beloved husband, Don, on February 22, 1973, having just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Throughout her life, Peggy was a loving homemaker to her family.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 Years, Donald Baumann of Connellsville; her children, Phillip Baumann and wife Lindsay of Mt. Pleasant and Kristen Ann Lipps and husband John of Bullskin Twp; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Brianna, and Chelsea; her great-grandchildren, Seth and Casey and her dog, Quiggley.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her siblings, Joann Shallenberger, Patricia Evans, Barbara Myers, Richard Evans and Vincent Evans.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Margaret’s wishes, no viewing or services will be held and interment will be privately held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
