Lucille (Ruper) Pochinski

Lucille Pochinski, 96, of Monarch, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at her residence.

She was born January 29, 1929 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Paul and Stella (Conetsko) Ruper.

She was a graduate of Dunbar Township High School. She was a prior member of the former St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, Leisenring, and upon its’ closure she became a member of St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Dunbar.

Lucille enjoyed playing bingo with her family and sitting on her porch watching the birds.

Throughout her life, Lucille was a loving homemaker and aunt, and she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pochinski (2004); 3 brothers, John Ruper, Thomas Ruper, and Leo Ruper; sisters, Florence Saksa, Pauline Ruper, Cel Paprock, and Kathyrn Sczumal.

Family and friends will be received in the temporary location of the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. located at the Apostolic Holiness Church 412 N. Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 (Right next to the funeral home) on Friday from 10am until the hour of her funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Dale Redick officiating.

Committal services and interment will follow in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville.

A special thank you to her nephew, Dennis, his wife, Diane, and their daughter, Jessica and son, Stephen, and her friend, Beverely Gibbs, for watching over and taking care of Lucille at her home in her final years.
