Louise Eileen (Woodward) DeMott

Louise Eileen (Woodward) DeMott, 91, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Eicher’s Family Home, Normalville. She was born May 27, 1933, in Grindstone, a daughter of the late Paul and Elsie (Maciniak) Woodward.

She graduated from Redstone Township High School in the Class of 1951.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Connellsville. Throughout her life, Louise was employed as a cashier for many different grocery stores including, Foodland, A & P and Giant Eagle, which is where she retired from. Louise is survived by her son, Timothy DeMott and his wife Darla of Connellsville; three grandchildren, Jessica Joseph and her husband Drew, Jacquelyn Humes and husband Matt and Joshua DeMott and wife Bre, all of Connellsville; five great-grandchildren, Luke Joseph, Leo Joseph, Layla Humes, Lennon Humes, and Maggie DeMott; sister, Joan Spinetti of Uniontown and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony DeMott (1999) and her grandson, Joseph Thomas DeMott (1988).

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, PA 15425 on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m., the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Kevin Anderson officiating.Interment and committal services will follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
