Lori Carnes Obituary

Lori Denise Carnes, 50, of Connellsville, passed away on Monday March 7, 2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.

She was born January 12, 1972 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Mary ‘Kay’ Catherine (Calhoun) Brown and the late Donald ‘Bob’ R. Brown.

Throughout her life, Lori was a loving homemaker to her family.

Lori enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino where she could chance her luck and bring home her winnings.

Most importantly, Lori loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren, especially her youngest Cooper.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth ‘Bucky’ Carl Carnes; children, Krystal Monosky and companion James Murphy of South Connellsville and Kendra Forehan and husband Tim of Ruffsdale; her mother, Mary ‘Kay’ Catherine Brown and her companion Kenny Fullem of Connellsville; Josh Monosky, father of grandchildren, Joshua Monosky, Jacob Monosky, and Jamen Monosky; grandchildren, Jace Johns and Cooper Forehan;  sister, Misti Smalley and husband Dylan of Connellsville; mother-in-law, Lucille Carnes of Connellsville; niece, Kelsey Brown of Connellsville; sister-in-law, Sherry Mazurik and husband Bob and their children, Brittany and Shawn, who are all of Connellsville; brother-in-law, Dave Carnes and wife Penny of Pittsburgh.

In addition to her father, Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law, Kenneth Carnes, Sr.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Thursday from 2pm until 6pm, when visitation will end.

In following with Lori’s wishes, there will be no services held and interment will be private.
