Lois Virginia (Brooks) Miller

Lois Virginia (Brooks) Miller, 88, of Connellsville, passed away on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.

She was born October 13, 1933 in Morgantown, WVA, a daughter of the late Paul David and Hazel Pauline (Ferrell) Brooks.

For many years she was a nursing assistant at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. When she wasn’t working, Lois was a loving homemaker to her family.

She enjoyed hanging out with her beloved dog, Shiloh and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Cherylan Swink and husband Charlie;  grandsons, Cyle Swink and wife Rikki, Ian Miller and wife Kiley and great grandson Luke; sister,  Paula and sister in law Dorothy and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Walter T. ‘Bit’ Miller in June 2010 and her son, Randy Miller in June of 2016 and sisters Naomi and Darlene.

Special thanks goes out to Dorothy, Pam, Anita, Bill and Marie for their support and visits while at the nursing home.  The family would like to extend their gratitude for the care Lois received while at LaFayette Manor. Especially the 2nd floor nursing staff and Jamie.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Lois’ wishes, no visitation or services will be held and interment will be held privately next to her husband at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville.
