Linda Jean (Mayers) Povlik

Linda Jean (Mayers) Povlik, 63, of Dunbar Township, passed away on Sunday June 5, 2022 at her home with her husband Tim by her side.

She was born February 1, 1959 in Brownsville, PA, a daughter of the late William ‘Bill’ and Naomi (Ludwig) Mayers.

Linda graduated from Southmoreland High School in the class of 1977 and then continued her education at Clarion University where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in education.

She was employed through Laurel House, Uniontown from 1986 until present day.

Linda enjoyed participating in swim aerobics with her friends, which she attended at Nancy’s Swim Spa, Connellsville. She adored her animals and loved to go shopping and she was Protestant by Faith.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy ‘TP’ Povlik of Dunbar; sister, Brenda Mayers of Scottdale; and her special pups, Sheeba, Bonnie, and Max, who will miss their fur-mama dearly.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Ilene Timko.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Tuesday from 2pm – 4pm and from 6pm – 8pm and on Wednesday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment will follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
