Linda Sue Oplinger

Linda Sue Oplinger, 77, of Uniontown, passed away on Saturday December 21, 2024 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, with her family by her side.

She was born May 18, 1947 in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Welton “Henry” Clay and Irene Loretta (Smith) Oplinger.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and most recently, Central Fellowship Church, Connellsville.

Linda will be remembered for the love she had for her family, church, and friends. She was loved and care for by many at Bella Healthcare in Uniontown and recently J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Her family would like to thank everyone for their friendship, wonderful care, and kindness she received.

Linda is survived by many beloved family members, including her numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Loretta Evans, Vera McDonough, Alice Hill, and Ida Mae Herron and her brother, Henry Oplinger.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

No visitation will be held.

Private interment took place in Brush Creek Cemetery, Irwin.

A memorial gathering and service will be held in May 2025.
