Linda (Thomas) Knight

Linda Knight, 73, of Connellsville, passed away on Friday January 14, 2022 at her home.

She was born September 3, 1948 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Troy) Thomas.

She was Protestant by Faith. Linda held numerous jobs at different companies such as Volkswagen, Seven Springs, and Howard Johnson.

With her caring and loving personality, Linda served as a nurse’s aide at Harmon House and then became employed as a nurse’s aide for over 15 years at Highlands Hospital.

Linda loved to dance and have fun and she would have a good drink from time to time.

She enjoyed listening to music, especially the oldies.

Linda was a kind, caring soul, who never judged or had a bad thing to say about anyone.

She loved her family dearly and will be truly missed by so many.

Linda is survived by her grandchildren, David Knight of Connellsville and Danny Knight of Connellsville; great-granddaughters, Skye Knight and Riley Knight; siblings, Mary Marko of White, Adella Mae Gemas, Robert Thomas, Samuel Thomas, Michael Thomas, and Karen Smith who are all of Connellsville, Janet Thomas of Olympia, Washington, and Nancy Corbin of Maine; step-siblings, Bobby Thomas of Normalville, Cynthia Ritenour and Stacey Thomas of Connellsville and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Laurie David ‘Flash’ Knight, Jr.; brothers, Gerald Thomas and Lawrence Thomas.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL. G FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Wednesday from 2pm – 8pm and on Thursday from 9am until the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Ed Nicholson officiating.

Interment will be private.
