Lawrence V. ("Larry") Wade

Lawrence “Larry” V. Wade, 80, of Connellsville Twp., passed away on Monday August 16, 2021 in WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.

He was born October 4, 1940 in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Maxine (Burch-Mullins) Wade and Jack Vernon Wade.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Army serving for 11 years. After he returned from the service, he was employed by the K-Mart Corporation and retired after 43 years.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Nancy (Ratai) Wade of Connellsville Twp.; sons, Lawrence “Larry” Wade and wife Taylor of Bayonne, NJ and Jeffrey Wade and wife Diana of Kennett Square, PA; eight grandchildren, Rachael Harvey and husband Chris, Larry, Emma, Sydney, Madison, Liam, Roman, and Jiana Wade; one great-granddaughter, Addeline Harvey; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Lepre of Wilmington, DE, Diane Ratai of Connellsville and Mary Talone of Connellsville; brother-in-law, Salvatore Talone of Connellsville and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his step-father, Trimble Mullins; step-brothers, Glen Mullins and James Mullins and brother-in-law, Joseph Ratai.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 1pm until the hour of the funeral service at 6pm with Pastor Lee Maley officiating and Military Honors will be accorded by the AMVETS General George C. Marshall Post #103.

Interment will be private.
