Kristen N. Geehring

Kristen N. Geehring, 36, of Connellsville, passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at Highlands Hospital.

She was born December 21, 1985, a daughter of Kenneth and Robin (Towson) Sanner.

Kristen was a graduate of Frazier High School in the class of 2005.

She was employed through Goodwill Industries where she worked for a number of years.

She loved to attend bingo whenever she could and loved camping with her family.

She was a major fan of the Golden Girls where she knew every single episode and made sure to get different memorabilia from the show. She also enjoyed doing different puzzles.

Throughout the years, Kristen created a large collection of nutcrackers which she adored.

She enjoyed the holidays, but her favorites were Halloween and Christmas. She had a big heart for animals and especially loved dogs.

She always wanted to travel to Bora Bora and loved the beach.

Kristen was known for being intuitive and she had no problem telling you if you were wrong.

She knew exactly who she was as a person and she flaunted it, which was exactly her style.

She absolutely adored her family and loved them with her whole heart.

Kristen is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Robin Sanner of Dawson; her sister, Toni Sanner and husband Kenneth Jr. of Connellsville; brother, Travis Sanner and wife Ashly of Irwin; fiancé, David Balentine of Connellsville; nieces, Brianna and Abby of Connellsville; nephew, Collin of Connellsville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Samuel and Charlotte Towson and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Mabel Sanner.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Additional visitation will be held Monday from 11am until 1pm, the hour of her funeral service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. 

Interment will follow at Dickerson Run-Union Cemetery.
