Kent M. Yozie

Kent Milton Yozie, 64, of Dunbar Township, passed away on Friday October 15, 2021 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.

He was born February 12, 1957 in New Jersey, a son of the late Michael J. and Audrey G. (Whipkey) Yozie.

He was a graduate of Connellsville High School in the Class of 1975.

For many years, Kent was employed by Green Filter where he worked in customer service.

In his downtime, Kent enjoyed boating and jet skiing with the Mon River Jet Ski Club. He also enjoyed visiting craft breweries and collecting license plates and beer cans.

Kent is survived by wife, Jody Yozie; his step-children, Melanie (Eric) Hartzog and Justin Ferlich; grandchildren, Annabelle Hartzog and Dale Ferlich and his cousin, DeWaine Watson whom he enjoyed watching Steelers games with.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael J. and Audrey G. (Whipkey) Yozie.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Kent’s wishes, no visitation and services will be held and interment will be private.
