Kenneth Ben ("Benny") Steich

Kenneth “Benny” Steich, 78, of Vanderbilt, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 2, 2021 at his home.

He was born February 6, 1943 in Connellsville, a son of the late John and Helen (Fetsko) Steich.

He was a construction road-worker for many years for Golden Eagle and then he was employed as a construction worker for his good friend, Jack.

Benny loved to tinker with lawnmowers and loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Max, who passed. He was a member of the Slovak Club, Connellsville.

Benny is survived by one daughter; three step-daughters; three step-grandsons; sister, Marlene Hunt; sisters-in-law, Barbara Steich and Bette Steich; brother-in-law, Frank Vaslavsky and numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Steich; brothers, John “Bo” Steich and Eugene Steich; sister, Karen Vaslavsky; and his beloved dog, Max.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

No visitation or services will be held and interment will be private.
