Karen Sue (Johnson) Duppstadt

Karen Sue (Johnson) Duppstadt, 61, of White, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 14, 2022 at Upton’s Country Comfort Personal Care Home.

She was born September 4, 1961 in McKeesport, a daughter of Margaret Ann (Sherbondy) Johnson and the late Walter Henry Johnson, Jr.

For over 20 plus years, Karen was employed as a notary and later, she became a prep-cook at Seven Springs Ski Resort for 4 years and she also was employed for the Indian Head Snack Bar.

Karen will be remembered for being an avid bingo player, her cooking and most importantly, her being the life of the party.

Karen is survived by husband, Jeffrey L. Duppstadt; her special daughter and niece, Amber Johnson of Dunbar; 3 grandchildren, Tailor, Tobee, and Trypp; mother, Margaret Ann Johnson; sisters, Barbara Kisko and husband Andrew of Denbo Heights, Tammy R. Layman and husband Clay of Normalville, and Lorri K. Pritts and husband Troy of Normalville; brothers, David S. Johnson and wife Dorothy of Alverton, Kenneth Johnson of White, and Randall L. Johnson and wife Getta of White; brother-in-law, Kenneth Eiford; sister-in-law, Melissa Johnson and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, Karen was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen M. Eiford; brother, Jeffrey A. Johnson and nephews, David S. Johnson III and Benjamin Kisko.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 1pm until the hour of the funeral service at 7pm with Pastor Benjamin Wiltrout officiating.

Interment will be private.
