June Lovis Crews, 90, of Grafton, WV, passed away on Monday April 6, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 25, 1929 in Cass, WV, a daughter of the late Everett and Pearl (Friel) Oxier.
June was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation of Grafton, WV for over 47 years and the Lakewood Ohio Congregation.
She was a Doctor's Assistant and a nanny as a teenager. She was also a waitress and restaurant owner, where she was a short order cook.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and Bible reading.
June is survived by her husband, Andrew Wayne Crews;her dear sister, Jacqueline Cassell of Chicago, IL; she was the beloved mother of Patty Fox Yanda of ID, Linda Fox Coady (Shawn) of IN, Joan Fox Novotny (David) of OH, Brenda Fox (James) of NC, Melba Fox Lemley (Ed) of CA, Joyce Crews Hain of OH, Marietta Crews Crapps (Delroy) of OH, Douglas Crews of OH, and John Crews (Jeannie) of OH; grandmother of 16; great-grandmother of 15.
Dearly loved and will be missed by her large spiritual family in the Grafton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett Fox.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
Interment will be private and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date with June's beloved family, friends, and Congregation.
June's family requests that memorial donations in June's name be made to Grafton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses - 1866 Tap Springs Road (RT. 250) Grafton, WV 26354.
