Judith Ann "Judy" Herbert-Keffer

Judith Ann “Judy” Herbert – Keffer, 79, of Vanderbilt, passed away suddenly on Tuesday September 24, 2024.

She was born August 29, 1945 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Clyde and Grace (Nevada) (McGill) Herbert.

Judy graduated from Connellsville Area High School in the Class of 1963 and she was  lifetime member of the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Vanderbilt.

For many years, Judy was an active member with her church, having served as a Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher and a Deacon.

She was previously employed as a nurses aide at Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant and as an EMT for Tri-Town Ambulance (currently Fayette EMS). She also was a wonderful caregiver for many years.

Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending sporting events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, displaying her Christmas Village, shopping and going out to eat with her mom and her daughters.

Judy is survived by her loving daughters, Kelly Coffman-Addis (Jeff) of South Connellsville and Tracy Coffman of Vanderbilt; granddaughter, Terra Jay (George) of South Connellsville; grandsons, Jeffrey Addis Jr. (Sarah) of Vanderbilt and Timmy Swift of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Georgie Jay Jr. (Miranda Miller), Jeffrey Addis III (Jayleen Karpel); Addyson Jay, Waylon Addis, Brinlee Addis and Braiden Swift and Christian Swift; her dog, Sadie and numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband David Keffer.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Thursday from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm and on Friday from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 12pm with Pastor Ryan Washabaugh officiating.

Interment and Committal services will be privately held.

Judy’s family would like to thank the DL&V Fire Department, Dawson Fire Department, Fayette EMS, and the medical staff of Highlands Hospital.
