Judith Beryl (Beeghley) Gallo, 87, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 22, 2025, at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.
She was born January 29, 1938, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Eliza Beryl Weaver (Schroyer) Beeghley.
She graduated from Connellsville High School in the Class of 1956, and she was a member of the Connellsville Presbyterian Church. For many years, she tended to her family as a loving homemaker and as a bookkeeper for her family’s bars and construction businesses.
Judy belonged to any organization that was involved with academics. She valued her education and education for others. She attended many journalist classes and was a member of the former Tri-Hi-Y. She also valued historical research, having researched back to the Civil War and her own family history. Her family’s history was always something she wanted to have been passed down through the generations. Judy was an avid piano player and gardener, being able to keep any plant alive. She was also a published photographer, having photos she took of historic buildings that are no longer standing, published in different magazines and books.
Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, whom she cherished.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Gallo (William), Christina Crupe (William), and Amy Gallo-Cornell (Glenn); 5 grandchildren, Josh, Gina, Tessa, Geoffrey, and Sara; 6 Great-grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, Wesley, Alexa, Charlotte, and Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her siblings, Eunice Davis, who was like a 2nd mother to her, Ruthie Francis and Samuel E. Beeghley and several other siblings.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, private viewing and services will be held at the funeral home and private committal services and interment will be held at Green Ridge Memorial Park near her sister, Eunice.
