John Edward Cornish

John Edward Cornish, 55, of Perryopolis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 6, 2024 at his home. He is now at peace and reunited with his son, John Jr in Heaven.

He was born April 8, 1969 in New Jersey, a son of the late Fred A. and Barbara L. (Hoffman) Cornish.

He was Catholic by Faith and used his Faith most recently to get through the difficult times as he battled strongly against cancer.

Throughout the years, John had worked for Frank’s Heating and Air Conditioning as a electrician and at Kraisinger’s Market, Mt. Pleasant.

John was an avid hunter and fisherman, always going out every season to try to bag a nice deer or catch a big fish.

He will be truly missed by his wife, Gloria, and his daughter and caretaker, Katt.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gloria (Fletcher) Cornish; daughter, Katt Theresa Cornish, brother, Jesse Cornish and wife Ann; sisters, Catherine Cornish and Della Cornish and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, John E. Cornish, Jr.; his brother, Fred Cornish, and his mother and father-in-law, Sandra and Albert Fletcher.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425. 

Private viewing and services will be held and interment will be private. No information will be provided about viewing and services time from the funeral home due to privacy reasonings.

There will be no threats or disrespect tolerated at the funeral home.
