Joanne Francis Kuhns

Joanne Francis Kuhns, 84, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 8, 1940, in Connellsville, she was the daughter of the late William J. Minsterman and Madeline C. Donnadio.

Joanne was a devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she served with the St. John’s Women’s Auxiliary. She worked for Colborn Bus Lines for 46 years, a job she truly loved, before retiring.

Two things that defined Joanne’s life were her passion for driving bus and her deep love for spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, William B. Kuhns Jr., and his wife, Sandra Jean; daughters, Carol Ann Kuhns and Bobbi Jo Davis; grandchildren, Kimberly Clark, Kelly Darnell, Jacoby Miller, Alyssa, Allison, Abbey, and Andrew Davis; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Her sister, Charlotte Coughenour; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Kuhns Sr., and her sisters, Marlene Basinger and Patricia Pavlicko, along with great great grandson Sylas Schroyer. 

Joanne’s family will forever cherish her memory and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Sunday from 2pm - 8pm and on Monday from 9 am until the hour of the funeral service at 11:30 am with Layman P.J. Carte officiating. 

Committal services and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
