Joan Lee Grimes

Joan Lee Grimes, 70, of Connellsville, passed away on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born April 27, 1951 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Miller) Bellan.

She was Catholic by Faith.

Joan enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and loved doing yard-work and gardening.

Especially, Joan enjoyed celebrating and decorating for numerous holidays, from a family members birthday, to Christmas and so on.

Joan is survived by her siblings, Joseph Bellan Jr. of Port Vue, James Bellan of Florida, and Jacqueline Painter of McKeesport; aunts, Betty Kuhns of Connellsville, Marretta Lowman and husband Baron of Carmichaels, Shirley Tomechko and husband Leonard of Connellsville, and Edythe Hileman and husband Elmer “Bud” if Dickerson Run and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Melinda and aunts, Nancy Shubert and Geraldine Fulton.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Monday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at Noon with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue.
