JoAnn Kinneer

JoAnn Kinneer, 61, of Connellsville, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.

She was born on December 4, 1964, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Ernest E. "Big Ern" Kinneer and B. Jeane (Shuff) Kinneer.

JoAnn was a 1983 graduate of Connellsville High School and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Connellsville.

She was a devoted member of the VFW Post 21 Auxiliary and proudly served on its Honor Guard for many years. She was also a member of the Sons & Daughters of Italy #454.

Prior to her retirement, JoAnn worked at various local restaurants, where she assisted with food preparation and delivery.

She is survived by her sister, Debra Gaudiello and her husband, Steve, of Connellsville; her brother, Ernest Kinneer Jr. and his partner, Broxton Conwright, of Dallas, Texas; her niece, Rachel Kinneer of Connellsville; her great-nephew, Hunter; and her great-niece, Arianna.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her brother, Richard "Dick" Kinneer.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425, on Monday, July 20, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Janice Altenburger officiating. The Auxiliary will hold a Memorial Ritual for JoAnn at 5:45pm.

Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
