Jean Lorraine (Kent) Tressler-Forbes

Jean Lorraine (Kent) Tressler-Forbes, 93, of Normalville, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 8, 2025 at Upton's Country Comfort Personal Care Home.

She was born May 10, 1932, a daughter of the late Irvin D. and Annie (Keefer) Kent.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Normalville.

Previously, she was employed at Modulus and Oglevee Greenhouses until she became employed at the Connellsville Senior High School as a secretary. Throughout her life, she was a loving homemaker to her family.

Jean is survived by her children, Connie Stern of Youngwood and Trevor L. Tressler Jr. of Connellsville; grandchildren, Rachel Shaw of Greensburg, Jonathan Stern of Youngwood, and Sara Reilly of Ligonier; great-grandchildren, Evan Deckard, Reagan Shaw, and Kerrick Shaw of Greensburg; and also many nieces and nephews.

She was the last member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Trevor Tressler Sr.; 2nd husband, Clyde W. Forbes; infant son, Ricky Lee Tressler; siblings, Mae Shultz, Tillie Piper, Dora Knopsnider, Geraldine Snyder, Freeda Upton, Virginia Upton, Shirley Stewart, Spurgeon Kent, and James Kent.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In accordance with Jean's wishes, no viewing will be held. Private graveside committal and interment will be held at Normalville Cemetery.
