Janice Ann (Branthoover) Matrunics

Janice Ann Matrunics, 91, of Connellsville, passed away on Saturday March 15, 2025 at home.

She was born February 2, 1934 in Apollo, PA, a daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Box) Branthoover.

She was a member of Greenwood Heights Church of God.

Janice was employed for many years as a nurse at the former Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, where she originally attended nursing school.

Janice is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, John Matrunics and her brothers, Edwin and Leland Branthoover.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Jonah Hughes officiating.

Committal services and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park.
